Job Description:







Baker Tilly seeks a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. In this role, you will drive the evolution of our development and deployment processes, ensuring our applications are robust, scalable, and secure. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design, implement, and optimize our DevOps toolchain, emphasizing the Microsoft DevOps ecosystem.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Design, build, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub to streamline software delivery.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.

  • Monitor, analyze, and enhance application performance using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, ensuring high availability and reliability.

  • Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to optimize the software development lifecycle and accelerate delivery timelines.

  • Manage version control systems, define branching strategies, and automate builds using Azure Repos and GitHub.

  • Embed security best practices into all development, deployment, and operations stages.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex application deployment, infrastructure, and pipeline performance issues.

  • Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.




Required Qualifications:





  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering or a similar role.

  • Deep expertise with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and the broader Microsoft DevOps toolset.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.




Preferred Qualifications:





  • Experience with additional DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef.

  • Relevant certifications include Microsoft Certified and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.

  • Proven experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
