Job Description:



We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Manager with a strong background in production management to join our team. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities within our manufacturing plant, ensuring optimal efficiency and minimal downtime. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians and collaborate with production management to achieve company goals.



Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  
  


• Schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, minimizing production downtime and ensuring equipment reliability.
  
  


• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  
  


• Collaborate with production management to identify and address equipment and process issues, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
  
  


• Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  
  


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  
  


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories.
  
  


• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  
  


• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
  
  


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in maintenance and production management.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field (preferred).
  
  


• Bilingual, Spanish and English is ideal
  
  


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a food manufacturing environment.
  
  


• Strong background in production management and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  
  


• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  
  


• Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
  
  


• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  
  


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  


• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  
  


• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
