Location: Albuquerque, NM

Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Management Specialist I
Position is Remote, but must reside in the Albuquerque area



Key Responsibilities:



Conduct medical management and health education programs for members in government healthcare programs.


Perform comprehensive member assessments, develop tailored care plans, and coordinate care.


Provide care coordination services through in-home visits and telephonic outreach.


Gather, analyze, and report data for regulatory compliance.


Serve as a primary point of contact, representing the company to members.



Required Qualifications:



Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of direct clinical experience, OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with 2+ years of clinical practice required for licensure.


Current, valid, and unrestricted license in the state of operation (or reciprocity). Compact license holders moving to the state of operation must obtain an active, unrestricted RN license within 90 days of hire.


3+ years of experience in wellness or managed care, including presenting clinical issues to members and physicians.


Strong understanding of the health and wellness marketplace and employer trends.
