Location: Cambridge, MA

Salary: $131,000.00 USD Annually - $160,000.00 USD Annually

Description: We are seeking a Senior DSP Communications Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of innovative RF, wireless circuits, and communication systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and communications theory to solve complex technical challenges. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams-including software, hardware, and materials engineering-will be critical to the success of our projects.


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced DSP algorithms to optimize communication systems.
  
  


• Apply knowledge of wireless communication theory to develop cutting-edge systems.
  
  


• Develop and validate Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions.
  
  


• Manage and drive complex engineering projects in a dynamic environment.
  
  


• Use laboratory instrumentation for system validation and troubleshooting.
  
  


• Identify and mitigate program-level technical risks with robust strategies.
  
  


• Contribute to customer presentations and communicate technical insights effectively.
  
  


• Provide actionable design recommendations based on thorough analysis.
  
  


• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, innovative team culture.
  
  


• Lead engineering teams and guide projects toward successful completion.
  
  


• Perform other duties as required, adapting to evolving project needs.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong expertise in DSP algorithms and their implementation.
  
  


• Deep understanding of digital communications theory and systems.
  
  


• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
  
  


• Experience with SDR tools and RF measurement instrumentation (e.g., VNA).
  
  


• Exceptional mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
  
  


• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  
  


• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and mentoring.
  
  


• Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing priorities.
