Location: Albuquerque, NM

Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Management Specialist I
This position is remote in Alamogordo, Otero County New Mexico



Job Responsiblities:



Conduct medical management and health education programs for customers on government healthcare programs.


Gather, analyze, and provide data for regulatory reports.


Perform assessments, care planning, and care coordination in member/family homes and telephonically.


Represent the company to members.



Qualifications:



Registered Nurse (RN) with 3 years of direct clinical care to consumers in a clinical setting.


OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), including 2 years of clinical practice to obtain the license.


Current, valid, and unrestricted license in the state of operations (or reciprocity).


For compact licensees changing permanent residence, active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of operations must be obtained within 90 days of hire.


Plus 3 years of wellness or managed care experience presenting clinical issues with members/physicians.
