In this contingent resource assignment, you will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Software Engineering. You will review and analyze basic or tactical Software Engineering assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. You will present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will provide information to client personnel in Software Engineering.



Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze basic or tactical Software Engineering assignments or challenges.
• Conduct research, evaluate alternatives, and select solutions for low-to-medium risk deliverables.
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations.
• Exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide information and support to client personnel in Software Engineering.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 2+ years of Java development experience.
• 2+ years of Spring Boot-based application development experience.
• Experience with Angular or related UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Tomcat application server.
• Experience with MongoDB or related NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Kafka or related data streaming technologies.
• Cloud certification from any cloud provider.
• Experience with cloud-native microservices development based on event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Experience with application non-functional requirements, including monitoring (APM tools), logging (Splunk), and distributed tracing.
