Seeking a Model Enablement Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. You will review and analyze moderately complex challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Your contributions will be crucial in resolving issues and consulting with others to meet deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.



Key Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
• Partner with the Model Development and Governance team to ensure appropriate model lifecycle compliance and model approval prior to use.
• Actively contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and overall technical design.
• Utilize technologies such as Python, Spark, Django, Jenkins, API, CI/CD, DevOps tools, Postgres SQL Database, and other integration tools.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Hands-on experience with Python, database development, Power BI report development, data ETL, and querying in a big data environment.
• Strong ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience with Airflow.
• 1-2 years of experience with Apache Spark.
• 1-2 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• 1-2 years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker containerization.
• 2-4 years of experience with Python.
