The Business Technology Specialist will join the Business Technology team and will be responsible for managing M365 and other SaaS applications, troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing configurations, and implementing automations to improve support efficiency. The ideal candidate will stay up to date with platform updates, proactively manage system configurations, and play a key role in governance, automation, and adoption of M365 and AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor M365 applications, with a focus on:
SharePoint
Teams
CoPilot
Power Platform
Provide Level 3 support for Microsoft M365 and other SaaS applications, resolving complex technical issues.
Identify and implement automation or process improvements to reduce support tickets or shift them to Level 1 and Level 2 support.
Stay informed on updates and changes to Microsoft M365 and SaaS applications, assessing their impact and making recommendations for configuration adjustments.
Act as an internal champion to drive adoption and optimize the use of available M365 tools.
Support governance, configuration, and exploration of Generative AI solutions, including use cases and best practices.
Participate in projects to evaluate and implement new applications and tools to enhance business processes.
Develop, update, and maintain documentation, training materials, and support resources for M365 and SaaS solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years of substantive relevant experience required.
Extensive experience supporting and managing Microsoft M365 applications.
Strong expertise in SharePoint, Teams, CoPilot, and Power Platform administration.
Proven ability to analyze, automate, and improve support processes.
Knowledge of SaaS governance, security, and configuration best practices.
Experience with Generative AI solutions and their applications in a business environment is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
Good analytical and organizational skills.
Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Able to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
