Job Description:

The Director Sales Wide Format Equipment and Service is responsible for the managing and performance of Wide Format equipment sales. This includes growth within the wide format segment managing the equipment specialist and service teams. The Director is also responsible for vendor management, including building/enhancing supplier relationships and pricing management. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)
Essential Position Functions:


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive growth and profitability for the Wide Format equipment category, aligning with company objectives. This includes the management of Wide Format Equipment and Service program which includes Equipment Specialists, Service Technicians and Equipment and Service Coordinators.


  • Sales Enablement: Lead the development of sales processes, programs, and tools to support field sales team in driving equipment sales and bundled solutions.


  • Supplier & Partner Management: Serve as the primary liaison for supplier relationships and programs to optimize profitability and competitiveness.


  • Process Optimization: Establish and refine workflows for quoting, ordering, and fulfillment of equipment sales, ensuring efficiency and scalability.


  • Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance through targeted initiatives, promotions, and go-to-market strategies that support business growth goals.


  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure success and continuously improve the Wide Format Equipment Program.



  • Supplier Management: Identify, assess, and manage suppliers, fostering strong partnerships to ensure a reliable supply chain. Negotiate terms, agreements, and contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.


  • Cost Management: Implement cost-effective measures, negotiate pricing, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining or improving product/service quality.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related equivalent experience required.

  • 5+ years' sales experience, focusing on Wide Format, Large Format, or Grand Format equipment.

  • Strategic product and prospect knowledge of Wide Format equipment/solutions in the market.

  • Current on industry trends, challenges, competitive landscape, and market conditions.

  • Strong knowledge of competitive strategy, equipment, applications, and solutions.

  • Must have intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.

  • Must be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.

  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communications skills.

  • Must be able to read and communicate in English, for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Work Environment
  • Employee works in an office environment and in office environment, and the noise level is usually quiet.
