The Environmental Engineering and Consulting team delivers solutions for complex environmental challenges using our regulatory expertise and implementing practical and cost-effective compliance management processes and programs. We address our clients' biggest concerns around permitting, ecoservices, assessment, and remediation.
Our highly trained and experienced engineers and scientists, environmental and remediation specialists, geologists, hydrogeologists, biologists, and environmental compliance specialists work with both public- and private-sector clients, delivering turnkey solutions.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Conduct inventories of chemicals used at public schools and other facilities (e.g., chemistry labs, art department, buildings and grounds, maintenance department, etc.)
Enter chemical information obtained during the inventories into database
Record data and Prepare New Jersey Right-to-Know reports of chemical inventories for submittal to the New Jersey Department of Health.
Perform Lead drinking water Sampling, including very early morning start times, but early dismissals on those days (e.g. start at 3am, finish 11am)
Provide report preparation support to project teams
Compile and complete field notes on each event/site
Assist full-time staff members on a variety of other industrial hygiene projects, in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have reliable transportation to conduct the chemical inventories (will be reimbursed for mileage).
Strong Attention to Detail
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Self-Starter
Strong written and verbal communication skills
