What You’ll Get to Do

The Process/Quality Engineer Intern is focused on implementing and documenting processes and standards for Toyota Production System and reports to the OPEX Manager.

 

This role is perfect for an individual who has good analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and team-player skills.  A vital member of the Continuous Improvement team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

 

Job responsibilities include:

• Observe, learn, and analyze our manufacturing process to understand the critical to quality aspects of the value stream


• Recommend process improvement ideas to the leadership team


• Create and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEA’s, control plans and Work Instructions

• Assist in root cause corrective action problem solving

 

What We Are Looking For

• 3rd year technical major with core course work in process engineering or quality control related studies


• Proficient with Microsoft Office
