Volt is now immediately hiring for a CNC Machinist in Madera, Ca. Overtime is available!

As a CNC Machinist, you will:

• Operate lathes, mills, and other hand-controlled machines to shape and finish metal or plastic parts according to precise specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical Mills and ensure all materials are readily available
• Perform G and M code basic editing
• Manufacture product that meets quality requirements.
• Inspect product and, if non-conforming, process via non-conforming material procedures.
• Carry out production, 1st piece inspection, and machine operation duties
• Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work
• Correctly process work via required paperwork and MRP system.
• Advise supervision of issues that arise.
• Translating engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) into logical processes to complete tasks.
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
• Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict safety guidelines of the company

This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity.

The schedule is 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday with OT


The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years' experience is preferred
• Mazak brand machining experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to accurately read complex blueprints

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
