Position Summary McCarthy Holdings, Inc. is looking for a Systems Engineer to architect, install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain business critical systems vital to daily operations. The candidate will be working with Windows Server, Entra ID, Azure, and AWS platforms. Key Responsibilities
Deploy and manage cloud solutions (Azure, AWS)
Server, Cloud computing, Storage, and Virtualization architecture and engineering.
Windows environment configuration, installation, support, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Virtual and physical server installation, maintenance, support and troubleshooting.
Configuration, installation and troubleshooting support for new and ongoing IT projects within areas of expertise.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity implementation, troubleshooting and support.
Plan, coordinate, and execute changes using a structured change management process, including after-hours work as needed.
Mentor less experienced team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise, as well as being an escalation point.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all areas of responsibility, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Identification and implementation of various administrative improvements utilizing automation toolsets such as Power Automate, OKTA Workflows, Power Apps, Boomi, and Logic Apps.
Collaboration with business stakeholders and other IT Teams for knowledge sharing and project execution (Security, Applications, Networking, Helpdesk)
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience implementing technical solutions in an engineering capacity.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server (installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting and imaging).
Strong knowledge of Exchange online and Office 365 administration (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and Group Policy.
Strong knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting toolset.
Familiarity with cloud architecture design and support (AWS & Azure).
Strong understanding of security best practices and experience with security technologies, such as Email Security (Mimecast) and Identity management (OKTA, Entra SSO).
Thorough knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMWare, Azure, AWS, Hyper-V).
Experience with backup software/hardware operation and configuration (Cohesity).
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity experience.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Driven to evaluate and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with vulnerability management and remediation preferred.
Knowledge of SAN storage technologies (NetApp, Pure) preferred.
Familiarity with a hybrid exchange environment preferred.
Experience with cloud storage such as Azure Files, Blob, and S3 preferred.
Familiarity with security tools such as Tenable, BitWarden, and CyberArk preferred.
