Weatherford have a great opportunity for an experienced Global Contingent Workforce Program Manager to join the team in Houston. This position will oversee and manage our global contingent labor programs. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for partnering with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), other contingent workforce vendors, and our HR and business leaders who utilize contractors as part of their business model. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage contingent workers, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations, and optimizing the use of contingent labor to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage global contingent worker program, including policies, procedures, and best practices for hiring, onboarding, managing, and offboarding contingent workers.
Collaborate with HR, procurement, legal, and other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
Manage relationships with managed service provider and other contingent workforce suppliers to ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of services.
Monitor and analyze contingent workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on the use of contingent workers, including workforce planning, role definition, and performance management.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of contingent workforce metrics and KPIs to senior management.
Lead initiatives to enhance the contingent worker experience, including onboarding, training, and engagement programs.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in contingent workforce management and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Provide training and consultation to internal and vendors on company contingent worker processes.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in contingent workforce management, preferably in the oilfield services industry.
Prior experience working in Vendor Management System (VMS) platforms.
Strong knowledge of global labor laws and regulations related to contingent workers.
Proven experience in developing and implementing contingent workforce programs and strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in HRIS and workforce management systems.
Strong skills in negotiation, presentation, reporting and analysis.
Proficient in Staff Augmentation and/or Statement of Work (SOW) contracting framework.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Oracle HCM or similar HR systems.
Certification in contingent workforce management.
Knowledge of diversity and inclusion initiatives in workforce management.
