This role reports into our Ellsworth Dispensing Solutions (EDS) Division located in Sparks, NV. The ideal candidate will be able to work on-site in Sparks.

You will develop basic drawings and specifications for existing and new design projects and assist with the design of mechanical systems and/or machinery utilizing design and ERP software.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review and updates of basic documentation including drawings, models, bill of materials, quotes and engineering summaries utilizing CAD Systems and ERP software
  • Prepares product documentation (i.e. manuals, work instructions, assembly instructions, data sheets, etc)
  • Prepares Bills of Material (BOM) and parts list repositories
  • Conducts assigned projects ensuring that work is completed within budgetary and time constraints while meeting customer and contractual demands
  • Assess customer requirements, evaluate engineering design, and create complete drawing packages
  • Model components to define recommended parts procurement

Qualifications

  • 0 + years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Engineering or relevant field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent

  • Certifications in SolidWorks (i.e. CSWA, CSWP, CSWE, CPPA, etc.), preferred

    Engineering in Training (EIT), preferred
  • Good problem solving and analytic skills (i.e., can conduct root cause analysis, make recommendations, and track results).
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to write and document manufacturing process, inspection, and testing procedures
  • Capability to communicate, coach, and train shop floor team members on processing information
  • Basic knowledge of electronics components and electronic assemblies.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel
  • Ability to lift 25 Pounds, on occasion up to 50 Pounds
  • Travel- less than 5% - International /Domestic
