We are seeking a full-time, remote IT DevOps Engineer II position. The IT DevOps Engineer II requires a broad and deep technical knowledge. Strong expertise in source code management and designing continuous integration and continuous deliver solutions for medium and/or large enterprise applications. The DevOps Engineer will demonstrate the ability to engage in senior level technology decision makers’ discussions related to agility, business value, security, and end to end information technology as a requirement.
Plan, coordinate, and lead all activities related to Standards, Design, Development, and Implementation of Automated CI/CD for on-prem and cloud solutions, secure coding quality check, log management and application performance management solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather requirements for automating integration and deployment of enterprise software and infrastructure assets in both Azure DevOps and AWS; collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement technical solutions.
Implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for new/existing software and infrastructure assets.
Optimize CI/CD pipeline efficiency and performance.
Implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipeline feedback mechanisms.
Enforce source control strategies and release management processes for automated CI/CD pipelines throughout the entire SDLC.
Monitor automated CI/CD processes throughout the entire SDLC.
Maintain and update support processes for automated CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure all automated CI/CD pipelines meet or exceed requirements set by enterprise security compliance and auditing standards.
Collaborate with Application Development and/or IT Operations teams to remediate security vulnerabilities found in underlying applications and/or infrastructure.
Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
Participate in planned/unplanned deployments to production via automated CI/CD pipelines.
Provide troubleshooting support and disaster recovery for automated CI/CD deployments.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of all applications and/or infrastructure related to source code management, asset deployment, monitoring, logging, and automation.
Provide proof-of-concept models and prototypes as required for new projects and technologies wherever needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is REQUIRED
Kubernetes and Dockers & Containerization: 2+ years
Cloud infrastructure and Networking, Firewall: 2+ years
Git & CI/CD pipelines: 3+ years
Application development experience in mid to large organizations: 2+ Years
Utilize Dynatrace for application performance monitoring (preferred)
Demonstrated successful implementation of SDLC ensuring minimum required development artifacts are developed and completed by development team members
Intermediate knowledge of solution development, systems analysis/design, programming techniques, testing, and release management
Demonstrated ability and experience working in a matrix environment
Passion for continuous improvement and learning in knowledge relevant to evolving job requirements
Healthcare industry experience is highly desirable
Effective communication, organizational, presentation and execution skills required (both written and verbal) Strong interactive problem solving, decision-making, and leadership skills; Ability to multi-task to support multiple initiatives
