This position is based out of Knoxville, TN.



Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to monitor, analyze, and manage project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgets and forecasts to maintain financial health.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to develop, implement, and oversee monthly progress reports for multiple clients.

• Drive budget planning and cost forecasting initiatives to support strategic decision-making by project managers and senior leadership.

• Manage resource allocation and track labor hours to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope and budget.

• Oversee the preparation and review of project invoices for the firm-fixed-price, time and materials, and cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts.

• Support Project Managers in developing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6, ensuring key milestones are met.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate and analyze financial reports, providing insights that guide

management decisions and highlight cost trends.

• Drive process improvements to enhance financial tracking, reporting, and cost control.

• Ensure project documentation, including technical environmental reports and proposals, align with

company standards and client requirements.

• Establish and manage timelines, ensuring task assignments are effectively tracked and delivered. Guide project teams by managing content collection, maintaining version control, and ensuring compliance with client expectations.

• Supervise a team of project support analysts, focusing on employee development and experience.



Minimum Qualifications:


• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management support, financial oversight, or a related leadership role.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and modeling.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate financial insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive results.

• Experience supporting Federal contracts is required.

• Proven expertise in project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to guide teams and facilitate collaboration across departments.

• Demonstrated experience in proposal cost review development and management, particularly within the SF330 proposal framework and Shipley Proposal Lifecycle process.

• Experience in managing teams and personnel.
