Java Developer at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Location: Conshohocken, PA (On site 3 days/week, remote 2 days)


Salary: 120-130K




Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end web applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks (such as Angular, React, or Vue.js).


• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.


• Design and develop back-end services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot, RESTful services).


• Write Unix shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and system operations.


• Integrate OpenText solutions, such as document management and enterprise content management systems, into business applications.


• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and best practices.


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product managers, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality solutions.


• Collaborate in Agile development cycles, attending daily standups and sprint planning meetings.

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience: 6+ years of experience in Java development (with a focus on front-end technologies).


• 
  Java Frameworks: Proficient in Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar.


• 
  Front-End Development: Strong experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js. Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.


• 
  Unix Scripting: Strong experience with Unix shell scripting for automation and system administration tasks.


• 
  OpenText Experience: Familiarity with OpenText solutions for content management, document management, and business process management.


• 
  Full Stack Development: Proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies. Ability to handle end-to-end development processes.
