Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Communication and Public Speaking beginning Fall 2025. Spartanburg Methodist College has a long history of providing excellent undergraduate education for students who are traditionally underserved in higher education. The standard teaching load is 4/4. A Ph.D. in Communication or a related field is preferred. Candidates who have completed their doctoral coursework and those with a master's degree in Communication or a related field may also be considered for the position. The successful candidate will have: a clearly articulated teaching philosophy; experience with first-generation, non-traditional, and/or traditionally underserved student populations; and a record of teaching excellence.
