Summary
Responsible for providing technical support to service personnel, and customers. Travel to install new equipment and service, troubleshoot and repair existing equipment. Manage service calendar, schedules, and communicate relevant information to customers and technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
Provide technical support to outside Field Service Technicians and customers.
Maintain stock of spare parts, ensuring proper and accurate inventory levels of critical items.
Utilize internal software applications to manage inventory, team scheduling, and generating customer quotes.
Handle field service calls and participate in new equipment installations at customer sites.
Data entry of service reports, service history, and other departmental documentation.
Effectively communicate with field service technicians and customers via phone and e-mail
Requirements/Qualifications
Associate's degree in Electronic, Computer, or Mechanical Science from a two-year college or technical school; and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, pneumatics, and print reading required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products required.
This position requires up to 50% national travel and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand for extended periods of time, walk, sit, talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move components of automation systems for assembly at customer sites and occasionally in a warehouse setting of more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.
Work environment
The employee is occasionally at risk of electrical shock.
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
