This internship is full of opportunities to participate collaboratively in various projects and additional assignments that directly contribute to the success of the unit you assist. In addition, the intern will have opportunities to interact and be mentored by executives and senior leadership. Upon completion of the intern program there is potential to obtain a full-time or project-based offer.

Growth in Competence and Knowledge:
This intern position provides participants exposure to Human Resources.
Intern will be required to successfully complete all required course work within the allotted timeframe.
Progress will be monitored by the intern’s performance of required tasks by collaborative coaches, senior management, and the intern program director.
Interns will be assigned to an intern manager and will also gain exposure to multiple departments at the bank.
Interns will work with teammates and their manager on projects important to the bank's goals. On the job learning will be provided.
Interns will participate in team meetings, training, and presentations as available
Interns will complete a 12-week curriculum, marked with specific milestones.
The Role
The successful candidate will have exposure to these areas and perform the following duties:
HR Coordination
Assists with the announcement of new hires, transfers, and promotions
Assists with proper handling of all human resource issues, including employment, employee separations, recruiting, payroll, education,and practices for the organization
Transfer HR information to Image Center
Maintain the HR SNOW queue ticket without any outstanding items
Assists with the Employee Referral Program
Answers and sources phone calls and emails
Maintains employee and other general files
Greets all applicants and new hires and helps perform the on-boarding process
Total Rewards
Reconcile benefits related invoices and statements to ensure accuracy and consistency between vendor charges and internal records, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure timely and correct payment processing
Process benefits related invoices and wire transfers templates for timely payment process
Administer the issuing and sale of the REIT Program
Support the documentation process from the benefits related vendor’s platforms, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders
Assist in the implementation and coordination of benefits and wellness initiatives
Learning and Development
Will learn how to design and incorporate web-based training solutions. This will include conducting webinars and delivering on site training as required.
Manage our Aiming Higher pin distribution
Record External Learning Events on transcripts
Assist in facilitating training programs utilizing blended learning techniques and applying the “Accelerated Learning” Methodology.
Assist in Monitoring and reporting the effectiveness of training on employees.
Assist in collecting training implementation feedback, interpret data and propose changes to training programs.
Works with internal resources to deploy training as needed (including train the trainer, etc).
Are you a fit?
Minimum of 2 years college education in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or job-related degree. Seeking 2025 and 2026 Graduates.
Must be an enrolled student at Miami Dade College, Barry University, St. Thomas University, Florida International University
Must be a team player and maintain a professional image
Must be able to prioritize work and effectively manage time.
Displays a high level of professionalism
Good quality computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal relations skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable interacting with senior management and / or non-technical members of the organization
