Overview



We are looking for a Pool & Beach Manager to lead the daily operations of our beachfront and pool areas, ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects the vibrant, reimagined energy of our resort. As we transition to The Sunny, this role will be essential in creating a welcoming and seamless environment where guests can relax and enjoy world-class service by the water.



Responsibilities




What you will be doing:




Operational Leadership



  • Oversee the experience daily at Coconuts, pool and beach, ensuring seamless operations.

  • Ensure all team members provide exceptional hospitality, following brand and service standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-friendly environment across all touchpoints.

  • Monitor and uphold safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.

  • Coordinate with the kitchen and beverage teams to ensure efficient food and drink service.

  • Implement and enforce seasonal and promotional menus tailored to guest preferences.


Team Leadership & Development



  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, and support staff.

  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to review specials, promotions, and service expectations.

  • Provide hands-on leadership during peak hours, ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages engagement, accountability, and growth.


Guest Experience & Engagement



  • Create an engaging and fun environment that aligns with the resort's lifestyle brand.

  • Work closely with the recreation and entertainment teams to integrate F&B into resort events, activities, and live entertainment.

  • Address guest concerns promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for service recovery.

  • Implement guest feedback strategies to continuously improve the overall experience.




Qualifications




What you bring to the table:





  • Minimum of 3-5 years of F&B management experience in a luxury resort, beach club, or high-volume poolside operation.

  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for hospitality and guest service.

  • Experience managing pool and beach service, cabana dining, and high-volume outdoor F&B.

  • Ability to execute sales-driven promotions and initiatives.

  • Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and labor optimization.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Certification in food safety (ServSafe) and responsible alcohol service preferred.
