The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to support decision-making for Heritage Construction + Materials. This role involves creating and maintaining financial models, analyzing financial performance, preparing forecasts, monthly management reporting, and quarterly Board reporting and partnering the business operating companies to ensure alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of corporate finance, and excellent communication abilities.

Essential Functions
Financial, analytical, and strategic support on special projects, ad-hoc, and support long-term business needs
Manage and support process to prepare detailed financial budgets and forecasts and financial and operational reporting
Analyze financial performance by comparing and analyzing results and variances; identifying trends and recommending actions
Manage large quantities of data into user-friendly reporting and analysis
Create efficient process(es) for managing data from the various systems into the financial reporting that will be provided to management and the Board of Directors
Manage data mapping from the various companies accounting systems into a new consolidated reporting system (Oracle EPM) and create new reporting
Work effectively with business operating companies and cross-functional organizations to accomplish tasks by leading and coordinating information requirements
Support in preparing high quality, professional, and accurate analysis, reporting and presentations for management and board of directors in a timely basis
Develop detailed financial models for potential transactions, including but not limited to M&A and capital expenditures

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent practical experience is required
Experience Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate development
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power Point and other financial analysis tools (such as Oracle EPM, Power BI, or Spreadsheet Server)
Experience working with ERP systems and managing data and general ledger mapping from the systems to create reporting and analysis
Skills and Abilities
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability in building and developing relationships to drive effective collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey various forms of information to broad audience Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with and act in utmost confidentiality with sensitive company information.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Have a strong ownership mentality and drive for results
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools, with an understanding or curiosity of data architecture and experience with advanced planning & analytical tools (ex. Oracle EPM, MS Power BI) is a major plus.
Experience with forecasting and budgeting processes.
Demonstrated work experience: financial statement analysis (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), modeling, and reporting; critical thinking, executive presentations, and dashboard reporting
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to identify solutions
Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
