Director of Wholesale Sales - Yellow Owl Workshop
Full Time | San Francisco (preferred) or Remote
At Yellow Owl Workshop, we've been crafting playful, design-driven jewelry, socks, and gifts since 2006. Our San Francisco studio is a kaleidoscope of color, creativity, and collaboration. We're looking for someone to bring that same energy to our wholesale sales.
We need a Director of Wholesale Sales who's ready to take the reins and own our wholesale business. Someone who loves building relationships, thinks creatively about sales strategies, and thrives when given the freedom to make an impact. If you're equal parts salesperson, strategist, and data geek, this role is yours to shape.
You'll be working with independent boutiques, museum stores, and larger retailers-growing accounts, bringing in new business, and leading trade show sales. We want someone who knows how to sell, negotiate at a senior level, and strategize for growth. If you're excited by the idea of owning wholesale sales and making a real impact, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do
Manage and grow wholesale accounts-boutiques, museum stores, and larger retailers
Negotiate pricing and terms for long-term partnerships
Lead trade show sales (we currently only do Shoppe Object ourselves)
Identify new sales opportunities and emerging retail channels
Work with marketing and creative teams to align brand strategy
Track and analyze sales data using HubSpot Sales module
Use CRM insights to refine sales strategies and improve account management
Maintain a positive and collaborative team approach
What You Bring
4+ years of wholesale sales experience (ideally in gifts, jewelry, fashion/accessories or publishing)
A proven track record of growing accounts and hitting sales goals
Trade show experience and a love for selling in person
Strong negotiation skills on a senior level - you know how to close deals and upsell
A proactive, self-sufficient approach-you don't wait for instructions, you make things happen
Experience using HubSpot Sales and CRM tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data
