Role Overview
As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and oversee the engineering schedule to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer specifications. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring product designs are manufacturable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the engineering schedule, ensuring timely completion of multiple small and large-scale projects.
Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Oversee the development of production and sales product drawings for food service equipment, including food shields, countertops, cabinets, electrical systems, and carts.
Drive process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, product quality, and team performance.
Interpret customer specifications and Sales recommendations to create designs that meet functional and manufacturability requirements.
Ensure model configurations are accurate and standardized across engineering projects.
Train, mentor, and support engineers in the use of Pro-Engineering and SolidWorks (experience with either platform is a plus).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in engineering management, leading teams and overseeing project schedules.
Strong expertise in process improvements, workflow optimization, and manufacturing procedures.
Experience working with model configurations and technical design processes.
Proficiency in drafting or 3D software (Pro-Engineering, SolidWorks, or similar platforms preferred).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Background in manufacturing or construction is a plus.
