About This Role
This position is for a Contract Software Engineer who will work alongside the full-time development team supporting our product. As a Contract Software Engineer, you will report directly to the Software Engineering Manager, who will be primarily responsible for providing direction and evaluating your performance.

Responsibilities
Develop software adhering to the team's established best practices and processes
Ensure product quality through development of automated tests
Provide and receive peer code reviews
Develop new functionality as specified
Fix bugs with existing code
Actively participate in agile planning and release processes

About You
You are a self-motivated and curious learner who isn't afraid to ask questions.
You are a full stack developer.
While you may lean toward frontend or backend, you are open to contributing to both.
You can proficiently write code in JavaScript.
You have worked on projects deployed to cloud platforms (AWS).
You have experience with agile software development and working as part of a collaborative agile team.
You can demonstrate knowledge of computer science principles.
You are organized, methodical, and consistent.

You have experience building accessible websites that meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard.
