Role Overview
We are seeking a Founding Software Engineer with strong full stack development skills, specifically in React, Node.js, and Python, as well as experience in building machine learning models. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and a passion for solving complex problems in the customer retention space. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using React for the frontend and Node.js/Flask for the backend.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Build and deploy machine learning models using Python that drive predictive analytics for our customers.
Utilize Azure and AWS for cloud architecture, deployment, and data storage solutions.
Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues across the tech stack.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall tech strategy.
Lead the migration from development environment to production Azure infrastructure.
Enhance and optimize ML pipelines for churn prediction and customer lifetime value forecasting.
Implement multi-tenant architecture for B2B SaaS deployment.
Establish security best practices and compliance measures for handling customer data.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in full stack development, with strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and Python.
Experience in building and deploying machine learning models using frameworks such as Random Forest, XGBoost, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Proficient in using cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, with experience in services such as Azure ML Studio, AWS SageMaker, or similar.
Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling principles.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience with Flask and RESTful API development.
Knowledge of database migration strategies, especially from SQLite to production databases.
Understanding of B2B SaaS architecture and multi-tenant application design.
Experience with authentication systems and implementing role-based access control.
Demonstrated ability to work in an early-stage startup environment with minimal direction.
Preferred Skills
Experience with customer retention analytics or churn prediction models.
Knowledge of data visualization libraries and techniques.
Background in implementing secure CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Azure App Service, Azure SQL, and Azure Static Web Apps.
Understanding of software development for regulated industries.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting base salary of $120,000.
