Senior Lead Superintendent - Ground Up

This organization is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects. This role requires a strategic leader with a hands-on approach to managing site operations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Focus:
  • Oversee all aspects of site construction from groundbreaking to project completion.
  • Ensure work is executed in alignment with project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies, ensuring OSHA compliance and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and proactively address any potential issues or delays.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing updates and resolving challenges as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and compliance records.

Skill Set:
  • High school diploma with at least five years of relevant construction experience, including two years in a supervisory role.
  • A four-year degree in Building Construction or a related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for construction experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and management abilities, with experience in team coordination and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and apply it to field operations.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Must have completed an OSHA 10-hour course within the past three years.
  • Physically capable of performing essential job functions, including standing, walking, kneeling, lifting 10-50 pounds, and operating necessary equipment.
