In this position, the individual will be responsible for conducting quality control inspections in accordance with project specifications, all while optimizing the production schedule of the General Contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these areas:
Concrete - Inspect vapor barriers, forms, and reinforcement. Oversee testing and pouring of concrete for footings, foundations, and flatwork.
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems - Oversee the layout and execution of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, cable, and low voltage systems.
Framing - Verify the components, layout, and assembly of the framing phase. Identify and document necessary corrections to structural elements, ensuring engineer certification as required.
This person will be responsible for executing punch lists and completion of work to clients. Seeking candidates with at least 3 years' experience in multifamily or commercial construction. Bachelor's degree in construction management; architecture; or engineering a plus.
Requirements:
Ability to read blueprints
Knowlege of MEP systems (Procore or PlanGrid a plus)
Ability to scale measurements from blueprints and verifying field measurements
