Job Description:
Design and Development:
Create and develop detailed design specifications for carbon composite parts used in aero engines.
Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks) to produce 3D models and technical drawings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate composite parts into overall engine designs.
Material Selection:
Evaluate and select appropriate composite materials based on mechanical properties, thermal resistance, and weight considerations.
Conduct research and testing on new composite materials and manufacturing processes.
Analysis and Testing:
Perform/Through understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulations to assess the structural integrity and performance of composite components.
Oversee the testing of prototypes and production parts to validate design and performance criteria.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all designs comply with aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
Document design processes, test results, and compliance with quality assurance measures.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to facilitate smooth production and implementation of designs.
Prepare and present design concepts and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for design enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay updated with advancements in composite materials and aerospace technology. 7-10 years of relevant experience in aerospace
Product design: Designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting carbon composite products
Project management: Planning, including schedules and budgets.

Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/manufacturing
