The Director for Workforce Development leads corporate, professional, contract, government, Dual Enrollment, Apprenticeship, and open enrollment programs within the Workforce and Community Education (WCE) division. This role oversees assistant directors, coordinators, staff, and adjunct faculty, providing leadership in instruction, budget management, and community/business relations.
Key duties include team supervision across multiple locations, budget management, event coordination, program evaluation, grant development/reporting, and course scheduling. The Director also represents the College at business and community events to foster partnerships and collaborates closely with the Director of the Workforce Training Center.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years in workforce development/training
2+ years of supervisory experience
Regional travel required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Grant writing and implementation
Data-driven decision-making
Development of workforce and apprenticeship programs
Must reside in MD, DE, PA, VA, WV, DC or willing to relocate. U.S. work authorization is required; no Visa sponsorship is available.
