- Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Track project deliverables, lead meetings, issue meeting minutes and perform follow ups.
Presentation and Communication:
- Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations to articulate complex business problems, project statuses, and solutions to upper management and executive leadership.
- Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations, ensuring clear and concise delivery of information.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track and report on financial performance of projects, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Ensure alignment of project expenditures with overall program goals and financial targets.
Vendor Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Vendor Management strategy and framework, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Create and maintain a centralized database of vendor information, including contracts, performance data, and contact details.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and external partners.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contract terms.
- Manage a team that conducts regular vendor reviews to assess performance, develop vendor score cards, identify areas for improvement, and ensure continuous alignment with project objectives.
- Work collaboratively with IT operations, Sourcing and legal teams to represent IT as a single entity with external vendors.
- Work with the tactical Vendor Management team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Regularly review and update Vendor Management policies and procedures to reflect changes in the business
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and performance improvement through effective Vendor Management practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT program/project management.
- Proven experience in creating compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile, MS Project).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in standing up Vendor Management Organizations (VMO)
- Experience with vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
