Job Description:

As a Market President at our Stillwater, Oklahoma branch, you'll lead the charge in overseeing commercial and consumer lending activities at your branch. Your role is pivotal in driving business growth, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Build trust-based relationships, analyze loan requests, and provide personalized financial advice. Promote and sell a range of banking products to meet customer needs. You'll be the primary contact for customers, ensuring they receive timely and accurate information, and resolving any issues that arise. Conduct financial assessments and provide advice on managing finances, achieving financial goals, and making informed decisions. You'll also explain loan programs, evaluate customer needs, and recommend suitable loan options. Deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate and timely information, resolving customer issues, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Performance Excellence: Achieve loan and deposit growth goals, manage branch performance, and develop strategies to exceed sales and profit targets. You'll monitor and analyze branch metrics, prepare reports, and ensure profitability and cost efficiency. Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue through cross-selling and upselling bank products and services. Additionally, you'll manage the branch budget, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a 45-day delinquency rate at or below 10% of the Community Market Portfolio and a charge-off rate of no more than 2% annually.
  • Community Involvement: Represent the bank in community events, develop business relationships, and enhance the bank's image. Actively participate in local events and outreach initiatives to establish a strong presence in the community. Engage in business development activities and solicit new business in the community, embodying the bank's mission, vision, and core values. You'll also identify and engage with local organizations and events that align with the bank's commitment to community service and involvement. Develop and implement marketing and business development plans to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Branch Leadership: Mentor employees, manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with banking regulations. You'll oversee the branch's balance sheet, P&L, and profitability, and support a positive and inclusive work environment. Lead and mentor branch employees, promoting teamwork and employee engagement. Oversee credit/asset quality and ensure timely handling of overdrafts and loan requests. You'll also be responsible for the branch's total deposit base and daily operations, including cash handling and transaction processing. Elevate branch employee issues to the Managing Director Community Markets and Human Resources as applicable.
  • Compliance and Procedures: Ensure the branch operates in compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies. Maintain security protocols and follow safety procedures to prevent fraud and losses. Stay current on banking regulations and industry standards to guide customers accurately. You'll also recognize and address red flags, scams, and fraud attempts. Ensure compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10-15 years of bank management experience.
  • Strong financial analysis, loan production, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for engaging the community and representing the bank positively.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial and consumer loan production.
  • Proficiency in banking software and Excel, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to proactively influence and sell ideas and bank products and services to others.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional relationship-management and business-development skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills, promoting positivity, enthusiasm, and teamwork in the bank.
  • Strong working knowledge of loan operations and documentation.
  • Ability to maintain customer and employee confidentiality.
