We are seeking a proactive and eager-to-learn Scientific Technician - Lab (Entry Level) to join our team! This role will involve assisting in laboratory experiments, pilot scale experiments, and the preparation and execution of production scale membrane casting runs. The ideal candidate will be observant, possess strong critical thinking skills, and have excellent time management abilities.
As an R&D Temporary Scientist, you will work under the supervision of the R&D group leader and scientists to collect, analyze, and report data, while also assisting in the fabrication, modification, and maintenance of experimental apparatus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Laboratory Work: Calculate and prepare laboratory formulations and chemical solutions.
Membrane Formulations: Perform laboratory screening of new membrane formulations and assist in their testing during R&D pilot runs.
Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, analyze, interpret, and report data and experimental findings.
Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the fabrication, modification, and maintenance of experimental apparatus and manufacturing equipment.
Process Development: Help develop new testing methods or procedures.
General Lab Support: Provide general laboratory and administrative support, including inventory maintenance, safety audits, and upkeep of laboratory and warehouse.
Other Duties: Perform any other required general support duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Education/Experience: AA or higher degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Biology, or a related field, or 2-3 years of relevant laboratory experience in lieu of a degree.
Work Hours: Must be able to work at least 30 hours per week, with the possibility of working 40+ hours per week.
