ExoTerra is microsatellite company specializing in solar electric propulsion systems and space exploration satellites. The company develops Hall Thrusters, propulsion modules, and microsatellites. We are in need of a Project Planner/Scheduler to build and maintain integrated master schedules for various programs.
Job Description
The Project Scheduler builds the baseline project schedules in Microsoft Project, updates progress, and supports critical path analysis to optimize delivery schedules. The Project Scheduler coordinates with Program Managers, Engineering and Production to determine the necessary tasks to complete objectives, durations & linkages between tasks. The Project Scheduler tracks progress and provides data to the Program Manager in support of Earned Value Management and Performance Metrics.

Responsibilities
Build and resource load integrated master schedule (IMS) for multiple spacecraft and propulsion modules using Microsoft Project.
Work with the Project Managers & Engineers to identify tasks, estimate durations, establish task links and identify critical path.
Work with production and test teams to organize and sequence resources to efficiently maintain production flow.
Work with procurement and inventory controllers to coordinate on dock inventory dates and need.
Work with engineering to track engineering and document release progress.
Attend daily stand ups to communicate weekly schedule items and get feed back from teams on where production/engineering is to feed information back to the schedule and Program Managers.
Track progress metrics using Smartsheets, JIRA, Excel or Project. Update IMS accordingly.
Provide status and metrics to Program Manager. Support monthly Earned Value Management meetings.
Analyze critical path to find potential work arounds to meet deadlines as program evolves.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5-10 years experience
Must have extensive experience in with Microsoft Project, JIRA and similar planning/scheduling tools
Good written and verbal communication skills
English Fluency
US Citizen
Desired Skills
Experience with Spacecraft Fabrication and Test.
Experience with Aerospace schedules and launch schedules.
Experience driving schedules and communicating with Production teams.
