Position Summary:

The Credit Manager reports to the Controller with a dotted line to the President and oversees a $30-$45 million credit portfolio serving North American infrastructure projects (Oil & Gas, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, Alternative Energy, Heavy Civil, Power Plants, Server Farms, etc.). This role manages daily credit operations, including collections, credit application processing, lien tracking, and annual credit updates. It requires expertise in financial statement analysis, A/R reporting, and compliance with corporate credit policies, as well as experience in construction job accounting and lien laws across U.S. jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily credit operations, including order approvals, collections, and customer communication.
• Assess credit applications using Bectran and review D&B and Experian reports.
• Conduct annual credit updates by gathering financial data and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with sales to resolve credit issues and attend trader meetings.
• Track and log lien notices, critical filing deadlines, and ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Manage credit insurance coverage, process claims, and mitigate financial risks.
• Handle account maintenance, respond to customer inquiries, and process accounting adjustments.

Education & Experience:
• In-office position requiring on-site work.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree from a college or technical school preferred.
• Credit Business Associate (CBA) designation with NACM is a plus.
• Experience in construction job accounting and familiarity with construction lien laws.
