GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:

  • Commercial Operations Lead for the USA Turf & Ornamentals business, a cross-functional leadership team to develop and refine the Vision, business/channel strategy, achievement of annual and long-term business objectives, and P&L management. Lead the field sales organization for the Turf & Ornamentals business in the USA (golf, ornamentals, and professional lawn care) to achieve the budgeted revenue and profit targets, optimize the return on OPEX and program investments, and ensure the long-term competitiveness of the business.Ensure efforts to analyze the market environments and steer strategic adjustments in line with segmentation and profitability goals. Lead organizational efforts to position Envu as a segment leader in the space through innovation excellence, key account management, team alignment, strong sales execution, and support for transformational innovation.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

  • Lead the Vision setting, strategic direction/sales direction for the Turf & Ornamental business. Full
  • responsibility for the sales and profitability objectives as well as establishment and implementation of sales
  • plans.
  • Lead a cross-functional management team to ensure that the short and long-term profit targets are achieved.
  • Ensure T&O business success by driving profitability while defending and growing leadership position.
  • Demonstrate high-level expertise on all aspects of the business, including portfolio, pricing, campaign
  • Development and execution, key account management, and competitive activities within the Turf & Ornamental Markets.
  • Achieve profitable relationships with key customers, channel partners, and stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of new business opportunities with existing and new customers, as well as integration around acquired businesses.
  • Ensure all respective sales objectives are met through the development of comprehensive 3-Year, 5-Year,
  • and 10-Year plans, complete with goals, objectives, milestones, timelines, and responsibilities that incorporate
  • strategic objectives of the company.
  • Ensure proper monthly business reporting and manage sales, expenses, and profit performance against it.
  • Ensure team management of forecasting, inventories, and working capital associated with sales.
  • Develop and attract the best talent for the organization and drive efforts to develop a high-performance culture
  • with capabilities needed to succeed.
  • Lead the development and implementation of commercial plans for the launch of new products and
  • the growth of the existing product portfolio within the channels of trade.
  • Actively participate in the North American Leadership Team and work to create positive synergy within the
  • team to ensure the best possible overall financial performance.
  • Effectively lead non-hierarchical, cross-functional, Management teams.
  • Assure that accurate monthly business forecasts are provided to aid in production planning, ensuring product
  • availability when needed by customers.
  • Lead The Turf & Ornamentals Business Leadership Team and ensure strong alignment within the team and
  • business.
  • Strengthen team capability, especially in value selling, key account management, CRM, and customer
  • communication, to accelerate success and enhance the overall customer experience.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience in sales/marketing
  • Business degree and/or MBA desirable
  • Customer orientation, and operational strength
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to manage business for profitable growth, and strong return on investment
  • Knowledge and prior sales and marketing experience within North
  • American Environmental Science/Ag markets, ideally with Turf &
  • Ornamental products a plus.
  • Ability to understand competitive situation and marketing philosophies.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills necessary to deal with

volatile, rapidly changing market conditions.
  • Ability to lead commercialization efforts of innovation, as well as business integration
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and issues.
