We are excited to announce that we're hiring an Assistant Product Manager - Powersports for our location in West Bridgewater, MA. The Assistant Product Manager will report to the Product Manager and will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of after-market products for motorcycles, UTVs, ATVs, and other off-road vehicles. This position requires a passionate powersports enthusiast with a strong understanding of the industry, emerging trends, and consumer preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with engineering, sourcing, sales, and marketing teams, the Assistant Product Manager will oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring that products meet performance, durability, and marketability expectations. A data-driven mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects are key to success in this role.
Assist in the development and launch of aftermarket parts and accessories for motorcycles, UTVs, ATVs, and other off-road vehicles by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Conduct market research on power sports trends, competitive products, and consumer demands to guide product strategy.
Collaborate with the engineering team and suppliers to ensure products meet industry standards for durability, performance, and safety.
Support product testing and validation, including real-world application testing and feedback gathering.
Assist in generating reports on product performance, sales trends, and forecasts for new product launches.
Address customer inquiries and warranty claims, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently to maintain brand reputation.
Evaluate the necessity of ordering Original Equipment (OE) samples for benchmarking and managing the procurement process.
Maintain and update product information databases, including fitment guides, technical specifications, and pricing structures.
Compile and analyze relevant data for quoting, line reviews, and pricing strategies.
Support other projects and tasks assigned.
Education and Experience
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
A minimum of 1-3 years of product management, marketing, or a related field within the powersports or automotive aftermarket industry preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various individuals and have a professional working proficiency in English
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration across departments.
Proficient in data analysis, Excel, and industry-specific software tools.
