We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Development and Marketing to help us expand our reach, grow our business, and lead our marketing strategies.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Senior VP of Business Development & Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive business growth, enhance our brand presence, and establish strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the interior design or related creative industries, with a strong understanding of market trends, client acquisition strategies, and branding.
KEY REPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Lead and mentor the business development team & marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
Develop and lead business development strategies and efforts utilizing market data and research.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support the firm's overall objectives including client retention & lead generation.
Drive brand awareness and positioning through innovative campaigns and initiatives.
Drive strategic brand partnerships & affiliations to better improve our brand visibility & provide a high level of value to our clients.
Marketing & Brand Management:
Oversee brand development and positioning to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, including digital, print, events, and other marketing channels.
Define and maintain the company's brand identity, voice, and messaging.
Monitor brand perception and adjust strategies as needed to build brand equity and trust.
Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies (social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing).
Stay on top of digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure that the company is leveraging the latest tools and channels.
Customer Acquisition & Retention:
Develop and execute strategies to attract, engage, and retain customers, with a focus on customer lifetime value.
Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and product offerings to drive growth.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to optimize marketing efforts and identify growth opportunities.
Measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Public Relations & Corporate Communications:
Oversee media relations, public relations strategies, and the company's external communications.
Oversee the planning and execution of PR, networking & speaking events, website, digital marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
Build and maintain relationships with key media, influencers, and stakeholders to promote brand visibility.
Ensure the company's message is clear, consistent, and effectively communicated both internally and externally.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BS in marketing, business administration, communication, or a related field is required.
8-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
Experience in managing large teams and developing high-performing marketing departments.
Expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and customer experience.
Strong background in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a focus on measurable results.
Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sales planning, forecasting, and achieving sales goals
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.
Experience with marketing technology, data analysis, and CRM systems.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work in fast paced environment.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Travel as necessary
