We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Residential Support/Community Services Assistant to provide support to individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury. Tennessee Community Services Agency has openings for staff to provide in home services to traumatic brain injury survivors. Those served live in a secured apartment facility that provides accessible and affordable housing for adults with physical disabilities, including traumatic brain injury.
The services of the employees in this program enables persons with a traumatic brain injury to live as independently as possible with assistance with certain activities of daily living. Services provided include, but not limited to, supervision and assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, changing bed linens, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Qualifications include:
High School diploma or equivalency,
Have a dependable means of transportation, a valid driver's license, excellent driving record & automobile insurance
Must have excellent communication skills,
One to two years of work experience preferred (preferably with vulnerable populations but not required),
CPR and/or First Aid training is a plus,
Must authorize a criminal background investigation which indicates no felony conviction.
