Kingsboro Psychiatric Center (KPC), a Joint Commission (TJC) accredited Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility is recruiting an Executive Director, Psychiatric Center to serve at the Chief Executive Officer of KPC.
Duties:
The Executive Director is responsible for all the clinical and non-clinical programs and activities at the facility and community-based programs. In concert with and working through the cabinet, the Executive Director provides administrative leadership and direction of all facility operations, programs, and policies.

KPC, located in Brooklyn, New York, provides comprehensive, integrated services for hospitalized patients and operates three Transitional Living Residences; an 80-bed Family Care Program with certified homes in the community; a satellite clinic on campus; and two community-based outpatient clinics located in the Canarsie and Williamsburg neighborhoods. The clinics provide assessment and treatment planning; health screening and referrals; discharge planning; verbal therapies; medication therapy; medication education; symptoms management; psychiatric rehabilitation readiness determination; case management; crisis management; clinical support; mobile outreach; and family support services.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher-level degree in a mental hygiene discipline, hospital, healthcare, public or business administration, human services, or other related field;
AND
Nine (9) of experience providing services to people diagnosed with mental illness, five (5) years of which must have been at a managerial level, including one (1) year in a high-level leadership position comparable to an executive staff-level position in a psychiatric center, research institute, or developmental center.
OR
Possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State or a limited permit to practice medicine in New York State and licensure in another state or Canada;
AND
Seven (7) of experience providing services to people diagnosed with mental illness, five (5) years of which must have been at a managerial level, including one (1) year in a high-level leadership position comparable to an executive staff level position in a psychiatric center, research institute, or developmental center.
Additionally, all candidates must be eligible to participate in Federal health care programs (e.g., Medicaid). Individuals excluded from participation in these programs will not be considered.
