A firm located in West Chester, PA is seeking an experienced construction industry professional. The role will sit onsite fulltime. Medical benefits and a 4% 401k match are provided.
Responsibilities
Contract Administration: Review and interpret construction contracts, collaborate with Project Managers and customers to obtain change orders and change order request documentation promptly, and manage contract compliance. Prevailing Wage Rate determination and compliance.
Communication: Facilitate communication between project members including the owner, contractor, and subcontractors.
Document Control: Maintain a comprehensive project file, including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and other relevant documentation. Monitoring project pictures and maintaining compliance across all projects/departments.
Licenses, Permitting and Approvals: Obtain necessary licenses, permits and approvals from state and local authorities, including zoning and building permits if needed.
Subcontractor Management: Oversee the company's compliance with subcontractor contracts.
Procurement, Billing and Invoicing: Review and verify purchase orders, ensuring they mirror the proposals or contracts. Approve invoices from suppliers and subcontractors, including job costing. Coordinate with accounting about progress billing for the month.
Site Logistics: Coordinate access to the construction site, when needed, managing deliveries, and reviewing rental equipment on job sites.
Project Closeout: Confirmation of project completion. Obtain sign off sheets for punch lists and final walk throughs. Ensure project documentation, warranties, and maintenance manuals for the project have been submitted to the customer.
Experience
Proven experience in project coordination within the construction industry.
