Position Overview:
Cardello Architects is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Architect to join our dynamic team. Under the supervision of the firm's Partners, this role will involve all aspects of project development-from client meetings and design conception to construction administration. A typical day may include design development, drafting, consultant coordination, construction documentation, and site visits.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and production of schematic, design development, and construction documents - "be a thinker."
Collaborate with project teams on design, detailing, and coordination with consultants, clients, and contractors.
Support project workflow, ensuring quality control and timely completion of deliverables.
Participate in client meetings, consultantcoordination, and construction sitevisits as needed.
Review shop drawings, material selections, and technical documentation.
Contribute to a collaborative, problem-solving studio culture.
Qualifications & SkillsRequired:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
3-5 years of experience in architecture, preferably in high-end residential design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD - Revit experience is a bonus.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage/adhere to project workflow and deadlines.
A proactive attitude and a great sense of humor!
Preferred:
Progress toward architectural licensure.
NCARB certification.
Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, and other design software.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience.
Discretionary bonus based on firm performance.
401(k) Retirement Plan:
After one year of employment, the firm automatically contributes 3% of annual earnings (no match required, fully vested immediately).
Additional discretionary contribution (historically 3-4%) deposited annually and is vested over a 6-year period at a rate of 20% per year.
