Business Development Lead - High Pulse Power Systems

???? Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule (Every Other Friday Off)
???? Salary Range: $119,500 - $222,500 (Sign-on Bonus Available for Relocation)
We are looking for a Business Development Lead with expertise in high pulse power systems, RF accelerators, or high-voltage equipment to support strategic growth initiatives. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities in nuclear weapons effects testing, E-Beam sterilization, Flash X-Ray, and EMP generation equipment.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both government and commercial markets
Develop and execute strategies to meet annual business development objectives
Manage relationships with government agencies, defense contractors, and private sector clients
Work cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and program management teams
Lead proposal development and RFP responses
Represent the company at industry conferences and client meetings (up to 25% travel)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Graduate Degree preferred)
8+ years of experience in high pulse power systems (or 5+ years with strong technical expertise)
5+ years of business development experience in government contracting or related fields
Familiarity with defense and government budgets and procurement processes
Strong background in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and sales strategy
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Preferred Experience:
Expertise in pulsed power, EMP, RF accelerators, or high-voltage systems
Experience working with DoD, DOE, or other government agencies
Prior military or defense industry background
