The Head of Sales - United States will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth, expands market share, and strengthens our relationships within the private equity sector. This leader will oversee the full sales cycle, develop strategic partnerships, and lead a high-performance sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software sales, deep expertise in data-driven solutions, and established relationships within the private equity industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals within the private equity sector.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive sales of our SaaS platform and services, focusing on net new client acquisition as well as expansion within existing accounts.
  • Relationship Development: Leverage an extensive network of private equity professionals, including investment professionals, operating partners, and portfolio company executives, to build strong client relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales funnel from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a data-driven approach to forecasting and performance measurement.
  • Partnerships & Alliances: Develop strategic partnerships with industry leaders, data providers, and technology platforms that complement our SaaS offerings.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving private equity needs to inform product positioning and sales approaches.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives and client needs.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a focus on data, analytics, and financial technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of selling into private equity firms, including an existing network of contacts in the industry.
  • Deep understanding of private equity operations, investment cycles, and value creation strategies.
  • Strong data and analytics expertise, with the ability to articulate the value of data-driven solutions to investment professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience in building and executing go-to-market strategies for enterprise software solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
