How you will contribute:

Our Global Talent Acquisition (TA) team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Researcher to join our growing function. This role, based in one of our major U.S. hub cities, is integral to A&M's expansion and success. It offers a high-impact opportunity to contribute in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with global stakeholders to identify and attract top-tier executive talent. The TA Researcher will integrate within the wider Global TA Research team and help drive and execute talent research across several regions.

Responsibilities:


  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Leads to understand strategic hiring priorities and executive talent needs.

  • Participate in search kick-off meetings and collaborate with Talent Acquisition Leads & Hiring Managers to define search parameters and provide insights.

  • Develop targeted talent lists and in-depth market maps of executive-level professionals across various business units, with a particular focus on the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions.

  • Leverage a broad range of research channels beyond LinkedIn, including web searches, company bios, whitepapers, conference attendee lists, and industry publications.

  • Support the development of industry and functional research insights, maintaining awareness of competitor and market trends.

  • Act as a Talent Market Advisor, educating stakeholders on external talent demographics, market shifts, and hiring trends through tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of talent research or sourcing experience in executive search, agency, or an equivalent in-house function.

  • Experience supporting Professional Services, Consulting, Finance, Tax, or Private Equity executive roles preferred.

  • Proven ability to identify and map top talent using various sourcing methods, including social networks, search engines, industry news, conferences, and referrals.

  • Strong interest in finding niche and hard-to-find talent using the latest candidate sourcing tools and techniques.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven sourcing techniques (e.g., generative AI or automation tools) to improve search efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ability to analyze and present research-driven insights (e.g., competitor intelligence, talent mapping) to inform hiring strategies.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Google X-Ray, Lusha, Contact Out, and advanced Boolean search techniques preferred.

  • Basic familiarity with HTML or Python is advantageous but not required.

The salary range is $95,000 - $110,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
