We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Claims Funding Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate claims invoicing and payment processing, directly supporting our financial operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables), and excellent written communication. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities
Generate and issue claim invoices accurately and on time.
Apply and reconcile payments to customer accounts.
Respond to client emails daily with professionalism and clarity.
Create and customize financial reports as requested.
Manage Positive Pay files and handle exceptions promptly.
Perform payment reconciliations on a scheduled basis.
Conduct check tracers to verify and track payments.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an accounting, finance, or claims-related role.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
Experience with accounting or financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
