Job Summary:
The VP of Finance will oversee all financial operations, including financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and risk management. This role requires a strong background in managing finances for a pre-IPO biotech company, with experience in fundraising, investor relations, and financial operations in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies to support company growth and profitability.
Financial Operations: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring strong financial controls and transparency.
Investor Relations: Manage communications with investors, including regular updates and investor presentations.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team to support the company's strategic goals.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in finance leadership, with a focus on pre-IPO biotech companies.
Strong background in financial planning, risk management, and fundraising.
Experience in managing investor relations and building relationships with stakeholders.
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
