Job Summary: The firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Credit Litigation Finance Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing, underwriting, and executing private credit investments related to litigation finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential litigation finance investments.
Underwriting: Assist in the underwriting process, including structuring and documenting transactions.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and legal developments affecting litigation finance.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, legal counsel, and third-party advisors to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
Reporting: Prepare and present investment opportunities to the firm's Investment Committee.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with investments and propose mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in private credit, litigation finance, investment banking, or related fields.
Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
Knowledge: Understanding of credit documentation, capital markets, and legal aspects of litigation finance.
