Centra has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) CFS Title & Appraisal Management in Franklin, Indiana. This position serves the residential and commercial title insurance and appraisal management needs of Centra Credit Union Members and Non-Members. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution and management of the Title and Appraisal Management Team, a subsidiary of Centra Financial Services (CFS), through the sales and quality delivery of title insurance and related services, appraisal management, and title search services. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who strives for continuous improvement, fostering success through coaching and building positive culture, and who is open and eager to facilitate positive change.

  • Promotes growth and development of CFS Title & Appraisal Management through performance management, coaching,  and training. Demonstrates and fosters a positive and supportive culture of continuous improvement. Leads and manages CFS Title & Appraisal Management activities and Team Members to goal achievement, strategic plan alignment, and in accordance with Centra’s values and service commitments.

  • Provides business-related subject matter expertise to promote growth and efficiency, recommending changes and new products and features when necessary. Collaborates with CFS Title & Appraisal Management leadership and other internal partners on projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Cultivates relationships with businesses and other external prospects through active participation in business development activities and striving for best-in-class Member Experience to facilitate retention and growth. Provides coaching and direction to the Title Insurance Sales Representative to ensure continued growth of new customers and business while ensuring best-in-class Member and customer experience.

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of CFS Title & Appraisal Management. Supervisory duties include performance management, coaching, training, and development, and demonstrating and cultivating Centra’s Vision, Mission, Culture, and Core Values.

  • Assists with forecasts of annual revenue and expenses of CFS Title & Appraisal Management and ensures revenue projections are met. Collaborates with Business Analytics to analyze pricing and profitability on an annual basis and make recommendations accordingly.         

  • Ensures regulatory compliance of all products, services, and Business Partners, included, but not limited to, preparing for and facilitating audits with underwriters.

  • Investigates and resolves CFS Title & Appraisal Management product or service matters of significance ensuring compliance, follow through on commitments, mitigation of reoccurrences, minimization of any potential reputational impacts, and quality resolution and communication with stakeholders and those impacted.

  • Negotiates and adopts contracts with third-party service providers through the Credit Union’s vendor management program

  • Approves CFS Title & Appraisal Management expenditures. 

  • Prepares and reports on the financial condition, performance, experience, progress on strategic objectives and other related issues with CFS Title & Appraisal Management to leadership and stakeholders.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)

Bachelor's Degree in Related Field

Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
